Rebecca and Andrew’s Special Day at Shustoke Farm Barns
On 12th April 2018, we had the pleasure of capturing Rebecca and Andrew’s wedding day at St Cuthberts Parish Church, followed by Reception at the stunning Shustoke Farm Barns.
The wedding was a lovely mix of English and Scottish traditions. The Groom is from central Scotland, so of course the traditional Kilt in Blackwatch tartan was a must, worn by all of the Groomsmen. As a surprise for the Bride, a piper was at the church ready to pipe the guests and Bride in to church. The ceremony was lovely with lots of personal touches including readings, blessings, and a guitarist. With both Phil and Vicky photographing the day, we captured shots from both the front and rear of the church.
Following the ‘I do’s’ we all went just a couple minutes down the road to the stunning Shustoke Farm Barns. Such an elegant wedding venue with so many backdrops for portraits, we were spoilt for choice. With numerous external and internal features, unique doorways and courtyard we could have shot there for hours. Following the meal, speeches, and cutting of the cake, the guests kick started the evening celebrations with a ceilidh (traditional Scottish dance) which was certainly full of energy and laughter.
We would like to thank Rebecca and Andrew for choosing us to record your special day and wish you all the best as Mr and Mrs Gardner. Here are just a few images from their day.

Wedding of Amie and Ross at Birtsmorton Court
On 14th December 2017, we made the journey to Birtsmorton Court, near Malvern in Worcestershire, to capture the wedding of Amie and Ross. A little further away than our usual area, but it was certainly worth it!
The venue dates back to 1241, with stunning architecture and gardens. It also has its very own church in the grounds. There are very few venues which give you the option of a church ceremony or civil ceremony. Amie and Ross had their ceremony in the church, which is stunning and was a lovely service. Following the ‘I do’s’, on a very chilly, snowy day, we headed into the breathtaking gardens for the group shots and Bridal portraiture. To warm up, we headed back inside to the roaring fire place and Christmas tree, which provided a great back drop. The theme of the day was Beauty and the Beast, which was executed brilliantly, with very apt table centre pieces and an amazing cake (check out the cake below).
A couple of weeks before the big day, we met with the happy couple to discuss their photography and create a personalised shot list, as we do with all of our couples. They asked for one particular shot very personal to them, which I have included in a small selection of images from the day. We would like to thank Amie and Ross for choosing us to record your special day.
