This is another one of last years weddings at The Custard Factory in Digbeth.  The Custard factory offers a great venue for weddings, it's modern and contemporary feel can give any wedding a real boost.  There are so many sculptures and pieces of art it was difficult to know where to start when it came to the wedding photography.  I absolutely loved covering this wedding, the couple were so pleasant and an absolute dream to work with.  The wedding photography took a different turn as the ceremony was held at St.Chads church in Sutton Coldfield, and then moved on to this amazingly modern and stunningly beautiful wedding venue.

Weddings At Packington Moor

Over the new websites development I have got quite behind with posting, so here is a wedding from 17th August, held at the beautiful venue of Packinton Moors Oat Barn.  If we can cast our minds back a few weeks it was bitterly cold but we were very lucky with the weather, cold but dry and slightly over cast.  The day got off to a fantastic start groom and groomsmen were totally relaxed and managed to snap some great in-formals before the ceremony.  As always with Packington Moor the venue offered relaxed and professional support to the couple on the day, and the smooth transition from ceremony to wedding breakfast was absolutely seamless.  I have posted up a few of my favorite images from the day, for every body to veiw, this is an amazing venue for photography and really enjoyed working with all the staff.

Weddings At Aston Wood Golf Club

Just sifting through last years weddings and came across this wedding from Aston Wood Golf Club, this is a lovely venue for weddings and events alike.  The beautiful landscaped grounds offer some stunning backdrops for wedding photography.  Working closely with the venue on this particular wedding was heated at times, but the staff were super friendly and helpful, moving from Bearwood to the reception put the days schedule under immense pressure.  A big thank you must be said to Richard C Jackson, who was the toastmaster, and also did a fabulous job of ferrying the guests and getting the schedule back to where it should have been. I also particularly liked his gag about cutting the cake with his ceremonal sword from his military career.  I have posted a few of the images a few of my favorites  I know the couple were thrilled to receive their wedding album and if i'm not mistaken we are about to hear the patter of tiny feet. Congrats.

Welcome to the all new website for Philip Charles Photography.  Rather than have a complicated blog with different sections I have opted for something simple, it's just going to be a general blog about whats going on at the studio.  So over the coming months you can expect to see Baby Photo's, Wedding Photography, Family Portraits and Commercial photography work.  Some of my images are fun and I always try to write my articles with an element of amusement, so keep following and you should be able to lots of images that will make you go 'aaahhhh' and also lots of images that make you go 'oooowww'.

With the new blog has came a new look website, it's fresher, cleaner and is also more compatible with mobile devices so you can browse on the move.
